- Patient Information
Patients presenting with gastric distress or other conditions may have underlying H. pylori infection. These include patients presenting with dyspepsia or symptoms consistent with GERD and IBS, or suffering from other bowel and digestive conditions, such as gastric inflammation and peptic and gastric ulcers. The AAFP and ACG recommend a test-and-treat strategy; testing patients over age 55, based on symptoms, including undifferentiated dyspepsia.
With BreathID Hp GIs can test for the presence of H. pylori quickly and cost-effectively, right in the office. With BreathID Hp, you can definitively rule-in / rule-out infection and appropriately prescribe therapy. Accurate results are delivered within 10 minutes, so you can treat patients accordingly. This powerful tool helps you reduce unnecessary use of antibiotics and prevent advanced conditions from occurring, such as H. pylori-related ulcers or even cancer.
Compared to other methods for diagnosing and monitoring H. pylori, the new generation BreathID Hp offers a compelling clinical advantage and a meaningful revenue opportunity for your practice.
